Goes together fast - it's so easy you can keep on visiting with other volunteers while sewing!

Cut coordinating and/or constrasting fabric into 5 1/2" strips - we usually use 11 strips.

Be sure all strips are the same length before starting to sew them together. The quickest way to do this is:
1.  Fold each strip in half
2.  Line up the folded edges - you can stack some as long as shorter strips are on top.
3.  Find the shortest strip
4.  Line up a rotary ruler with the shortest strip.
5.  Cut all strips to the same length.

You can also use varied widths to make a strip quilt.
