Make a Blanket Day (MABD)

Make a Blanket Days are fun!  Not only will you be helping make blankets for kids who need a hug, but you will meet other volunteers who also enjoy bringing a smile to a child's face.

You don't have to be a quilter to help at Blanket Days and you don't have to be an expert to make a blanket beautiful to a child.

Here's what we do at Make a Blanket Days:

  • Tie Quilts
  • Sew quilt blocks and quilt tops
  • Bind quilts
  • Color fabric squares
  • Sew on labels
  • Scan with a metal detector (for straight pins)
  • Bag quilts for delivery
